Our goal is to provide quality installation and finishing, along with excellent customer service, both during and after the project. As a service-oriented company, we keep the future in mind. We know that hardwood flooring is an investment in both home and lifestyle. We will spend time at the onset of the project to collaborate and review flooring choices and options in order to ensure that the best and most appropriate flooring and finishes are selected.
Our skilled craftsmen are hardwood flooring professionals. From new hardwoods floors to renewing existing flooring, we will make sure the project is done using the best products, latest techniques and to our highest standards.
Quality of work is very important to us. We work hard to adhere to industry standards and practices set by organizations such as the NWFA. We strive to learn about new products and applications, and specify those that best meet our clients’ needs.
We can match color to specific finishes throughout the home, or we can custom create a color—and even have the flooring prefinished prior to installation if the project would benefit—or sand and finish on-site.
When it comes to repairing or replacing flooring due to damage such as water or wear, we can make your floors look like new—we can even match the existing color and finishes. We use an efficient dust containment system as well as mask and tape off all rooms and appliances as necessary to help decrease dust. In addition, we are well-versed in the building process and are experts in regards to subfloors and radiant heat. This helps to ensure that the correct installation application is chosen for the best long-term results.
Our process encourages the collaboration and communication of all involved parties.
We work with architects and builders in order to best serve the interests of our clients. To avoid plan revisions and increase efficiency in the planning and building process, we appreciate the opportunity to collaborate early on in the project. We are thus able to communicate any specific needs and help pave the way for an efficient and timely installation.
Collaborating with the interior designer is another important piece of Stromberg Moore’s process. In order to meet both the client’s needs and the designer’s vision for the project, we strive to consistently communicate specifications and outline design possibilities.
Our policy of design collaboration, communication and attention to detail is designed to improve long-term satisfaction. Whether it’s a new build, remodel, upgrade, repair or refinish, working together we can create the perfect floor to fit all needs, expectations, lifestyles and budgets.
Green thinking…from start to the finish.
1) We start by diverting waste from landfills by salvaging our cut-off waste material and other unusable wood.
2) We recycle as much of the packaging as feasible. We request our manufacturers use the least amount of packaging
as possible while still protecting the product.
3) Resource Reuse: Reclaimed and antique flooring is not only a beautiful option, but is environmentally friendly as well!
4) Certified Woods: We purchase FSC-certified flooring.
5) The adhesives and finishes we choose are low-VOC and comply with the South Coast Air Quality Management District Rule No. 1168.
6) We can help you obtain LEED Credits: The Environmental Quality prerequisite credits, and Materials and Resources credits.
7) Member of the Idaho Chapter of the US Green Building Council.
